Design of Nanoscale Sensors for Medical Applications. Integration of Nanomaterials into Micro and Macroscale Systems. In addition to developing new nanomanufacturing processes and equipment, we must also improve the methods used to design nanoscale devices to increase their manufacturability. Many prototype nanoscale devices are designed to be fabricated using slow, serial manufacturing methods such as electron beam lithography .
